Veganism: What It's All About!

VFA is holding a special movie showing public outreach event next Sunday called Veganism: What It's All About!

Come see the original "Peaceable Kingdom," (2004)

a powerful movie about animal agriculture and the animals affected by it.

Enjoy a FREE delicious vegan meal, and hear and participate in discussions about veganism and animal sentience.

There will also be a question and answer session after the movie.

Petland Protest Pittsburghers Against Petland will be holding their monthly Petland protest against the East Liberty Petland this Saturday,
July 3rd from 1:00-3:00 PM in front of the Eastside Shopping Centre
(6401 Penn Avenue) in East Liberty.
Signs and leaflets are provided on site.



Vegan Bazaar Tabling Voices For Animals will be tabling with educational literature, as well as running a children's art table,
at the second Vegan Bazaar of the year on July 24th from 1:00-6:00 PM at
the Allegheny Unitarian Church in the Northside
(416 W. North Avenue, at Resaca Pl.).
The Vegan Bazaar is hosted by Amethyst and was created in order to introduce people to Pittsburgh's wide variety of vegan options.
Vendors include The Juice Box Cafe, Love Street Living Foods, The Vegan Goddess, and Abay Ethiopian Cuisne, with some vendors offering free samples.
The event will also include massage therapy, henna body art, non-alchoholic drinks like virgin mimosas, face painting, and live shows and performances.

Admission is $5. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event and children 10 and under are admitted free.
